The once dominant world of 2WD buggy racing seems to be dying out more and more with growing number of bigger 4WD buggies and trucks taking over the market. That said there is a real skill to 2WD racing, these light pointy little cars offer a unique challenge to the competitive racer and the Cougar SV from Schumacher is one of the best buggies on the market.
The centrally mounted motor was chosen for optimum weigh distribution and although it lacks the adjustability of some kits it is near to perfect in most situations. The chassis is incredibly stiff and responds to input in a positive and predictable way.
The 2011 spec kit includes a number of included option parts or improvements to existing components. As always these either add strength, reduce weight or reduce friction in the model in the quest for ever more speed.
