We say:

The once dominant world of 2WD buggy racing seems to be dying out more and more with growing number of bigger 4WD buggies and trucks taking over the market.  That said there is a real skill to 2WD racing, these light pointy little cars offer a unique challenge to the competitive racer and the Cougar SV from Schumacher is one of the best buggies on the market.

The centrally mounted motor was chosen for optimum weigh distribution and although it lacks the adjustability of some kits it is near to perfect in most situations.  The chassis is incredibly stiff and responds to input in a positive and predictable way.

The 2011 spec kit includes a number of included option parts or improvements to existing components.  As always these either add strength, reduce weight or reduce friction in the model in the quest for ever more speed.

It goes without saying the Cougar SV is fully adjustable to tune your set up to the track you are on. As with the Cat SX chassis set-up sheets are available to download from the Schumacher web site.  Weigh distribution can be adjusted most effectively with the position of your LiPo packs with both saddle and stick packs fitting the chassis.  With a little care its easy to find a good base set up on the Cougar SV with most time undoubtedly coming from the drivers level of skill piloting the car!

As with the Cat SX 4WD buggy, this is a pro level kit requiring the purchase and installation of all electrical components.
