We say:
The SX3 evolution of the Schumacher Cat racing buggy sees a range of improvements that ultimately make the car lighter, stronger, better balanced and in the end faster. The Cat remains at the top end of 1/10th racing buggy kits this is race winning machine that has taken top spot in the highest levels of competition. The SX3 has a range of parts that essentially help optimise the car to run with LiPo saddle packs. A new central motor mount helps with weight distribution with the lighter LiPo batteries to maintain the excellent handling of the car.
Other upgraded components fitted such as the new belt drive and stronger gears increase durability and reduce friction losses in the transmission. The kit is all carbon fibre and aluminium for the lowest possible weight. The addition of the Schumacher big bore shocks gives improved ride and damping with faster response over uneven surfaces.
It comes as no surprise that the Cat SX3 is a great handling car, feeling precise
and sharp on the track. The suspension is fully adjustable meaning the car can be
tailored to suite any track layout or surface. With such a precise kit with so mush
adjustment its easy to get lost on set up. Its well worth downloading some of the
set-
If you are looking for a high end racing buggy the Cat SX3 is a great kit, the new model remains easy to work on and tune with excellent aftermarket support from Schumacher.
A quick note to end on; kits at this end of the market are really not toys and require a degree of knowledge to get the best from them. You will need to add and install all electrics including, receiver, servo, brushless motor and speed controller.
