The HPI E-Firestorm stadium truck is one of the most popular RC kits out there now and for good reason.  This truck is strong, handles well and super fast on LiPo power.

We say... Our verdict on the HPI E-Firestorm Brushless stadium truck...
The E-Firestorm is one of the best 1/10th scale ready to run stadium trucks available and out the box is superior to the Traxxas Rustler VXL.  However things soon become less clear when you start to take the aftermarket support into account where the high availability of option parts moves the Rustler ahead in many peoples books.  The E-Firestorm has a strong chassis with little flex and a high quality feel.  The truck handles well and can be raced at club level with little in the way of modification.  Should you wish to upgrade your truck a range of option parts are available from HPI that primarily take a lot of the flex out of the suspension and bulkhead.  More information on these is available in our tuning and hop up guide.
So aimed primarily as a club spec model or a basher the HPI bridges the gap nicely as a well sorted and enjoyable intermediate kit.  One of the downsides might be that a 2.4ghz system is now standard on a lot of models where as the E-Firestorm comes as standard with a 27mhz system.  The E-Firestorm is also more expensive than its direct rivals but this is paid back with higher quality components as standard.  
In all if you are in the market for a ready to run stadium and you don’t intend to make your model a serious hop-up project the E-Firestorm should be top of the list.
