Team Xtreme Predator X11 (KX11L LiPo Edition) Racing Buggy
I finally got to drive one of my all time favourite Rc cars the Team Xtreme Predator X11. This, new for 2011, LiPo version comes with a host of upgrades as standard including many carbon and graphite option parts as well as big bore shocks. When asked about my favourite Rc cars the Predator is right at the top of my list, and I don’t even do 1:10th buggy racing. The look of this kit is just amazing and when it came out was so far ahead of its time that only now are other manufacturers (with much bigger resources) catching up.
This kit, in one of its earlier incarnations, was one of the first to use an inboard

The LiPo edition is not just a modification to the chassis to allow for the different battery packs but a full upgrade to the design with many improved features. The kit also comes with a host of option parts as standard, so many in fact the spec sheet is posted below.
If you are serious about 1:10th off road or just want to have the best (looking) kit money can buy then you won’t be disappointed with a Predator. Team Xtreme offer full parts support with every part available for order direct. New upgrades are also constantly being added for this kit. I will try to do a full review of this kit in the future, but as a car that seems to sit under the radar I wanted to get a small feature out there. Check out the pred, you won’t be disappointed!

REAR GEARBOX COVER: Now moulded in lightweight carbon fibre filled material, this has additional lugs which provide for easy and precise adjustment of rear suspension droop.
SERVO POSTS: Lightweight and strong aluminium servo posts bolt your steering servo to the chassis. Their new position moves your servo significantly closer to the prop shaft for superior weight distribution with reduced polar inertia.
SERVO LINK ROD: This passes directly to the new steering control arm through the bodyshell via a rose joint assembly. The quantity of holes through the chassis is reduced, bringing additional torsional rigidity and strength to the chassis and more precise steering control.

What Traxxas have done is create a halo model that sits on the top of the range, raises the game and will help expose a new audience to the world of RC. This has to be seen as a good thing, even if you will never consider buying this car.
